The purpose of this app is to educate the world about the role African Americans play and have played, in building American culture through music. NMAAM will increase the visibility of and credit to genres that are the backbone of music we all know and love, today.

In-depth information about artists, musicians, and songs.
Includes discography and tracks on an album as well as videos of artists performing song(s) for which they are noted. Ability to cultivate user-generated commentary, submissions, and opinions. This app is an interactive experience of the genealogy of American music.
